| I have stayed a t Mykonos 3 times now and I love Platis gialos beach. We stayed just up the road in Kamari Hotel and had a fantastic stay. The beach is beautiful. The boat ride around to the other beaches is fantastic too

| spent 2 fantastic weeks here for my 50th birthday if you want to go to Mykonos this is the place 2 be.Easy access to Mykonos Town Buses all day regulary but this is the place to be if you want to explore the beaches as small boats travel to Paradise super paradise aghia anna and all other beaches. Being based in Gialos means you get the first choice of boats early in the day before the crowds from Mykonos Town arrive. there are nice walks to nearby beaches I even managed Paradise beach on foot but the boats are not to be missed.The sight of the fully overladen boats returning from Paradise and Super Paradise and the nightclubs there (Pasha is one) is something to be seen.I am busy planning my next Greek holiday probably 4 weeks and Mykonos will definetly get 1week stay

| I visited Platis Yialos for 3 days in August 2004 during a Round the World trip and of all the places in the world I visited, this beach amazed me the most. I have never seen a beach so beautiful, crystal blue and spotless. The water was amazing. Even swimming out to depths of about 10 metres, I could still see the bottom of the sand easily and clearly. The village is gorgeous and simple and a favourite of my destinations which I will frequent again in the near future.
