This little hotel has the best service, best food and largest rooms on the island. Walking distance from town but off the main strip so you can have privacy and quiet. Staff is great!

Stayed at this gorgeous little hotel only for a week but it was so relaxing we were sad to leave. It is superbly located, above the road facing the sea offering uninterrupted spectacular sunsets and views. It is only a 5 minute walk into Mykonos town passed the harbour, albeit along a road with poor lighting. However, when we were there they were extending the promenade so it will be better now. The staff were discreet, friendly and sweet. On our arrival we were pleasantly suprised when a knock at our door revealed a complimentary platter of prepared fruits and chilled white wine. The rooms are large and the bathrooms superb for its class and for Greece. Breakfast was delicious, altough hot food is extra, and because we ordered lunch at the pool restaurant every day, we were treated to a free lunch of lamb and wine on our last day. We also received free nibbles around the pool one afternoon. The wooden sun loungers were extremely comfortable with big fat cushions. The hotel's style is chic Greek minimal - only 17 white sugar cube rooms with blue shutters and balconies. The pool was very cold and we couldn't use it, but as most people disappeared to the beach, we usually had the place to ourselves. A wonderful hotel and I have no reservation in recommended it - we would stay again, only this year we are trying the Mykonos Grand for a treat, but if money was tighter, we would definitely go back to the Apanema. Mykonos, although known as a gay island, also receives all kinds of tourists and lots of hetero couples, like us and we did not find it awkward - the town is wonderfully clean, full of boutiques and fantastic cocktail bars and authentic restaurants - best place we've stayed in Greece.
